A Little Bit About Me

I have spent almost my whole working life slouching in front of a computer at a desk which took a big toll on my posture. I have suffered with back pain and neck problems for as long as I can remember and having tried all sorts of pain relief from acupuncture to physiotherapy to sports massage to personal training, nothing seemed to provide me with long term pain relief until one day I tried Pilates; I had never imagined this would give me not only continuous pain relief but my posture has improved drastically.

Pilates has helped me to achieve a better posture by strengthening the centre of my body so that it supports my lower back, helping me to stand straight and hold my upper body correctly. My back pain and neck problems have completely vanished!

I already had a keen interest in fitness and nutrition and I wanted to help other people suffering with back pain the way I used to so I was inspired to enroll for a Pilates instructor course which has brought me here today. I am now a fully qualified Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor and registered on the Register of Exercise Professionals.

To further enhance my professional development I am currently undergoing training for Exercise Referral and Managing Low Back Pain.
