We saw a recent post from local Mum Sarah about the 152 Fusliers Cobham ACF recruitment evening happening tomorrow (Monday 28th January) – nothing out of the ordinary there but it was the accompanying comment that really caught our attention:

“…this has been amazing for my own daughter, she has gained confidence, had some amazing opportunities and experiences, learnt new skills and abilities and made some great friends there. They don’t have to want to join the army to go either!”

So we got in touch with Col. Sgt. Marco Vitelli to find out some more details about the recruitment evening and the sort of things they do down at the 152 Cobham Fusiliers.

152 Fusliers Cobham ACF have a recruitment evening this Monday (28th January) for new potential cadets at the Cadet Centre, Between Streets, Cobham, KT11 1AA from 7.30 t0 8.30pm

There will be refreshments on arrival then a short presentation followed by drill demonstration and a tour of the unit showcasing First Aid, Fieldcraft, Cooking, outside shelter, camouflage nets, weapon systems.

Boys and Girls aged 12(yr8) – 18
Uniform is free
£5 per month

Fusiliers on their first Cyber course

We have the current Lord Lieutenant Cadet of Greater London at our unit – he will talk about achievements and his cadet career. He also was the first person to light the torch on Remembrance Sunday marking the 100 years anniversary at the Tower of London.
