Family Summer Circuits with Melissa Joy Training

Fun workouts for adults and children (7+)

Open to adults and also adults coming with children aged 7(ish – it’s a guide age) and above.

29th July to 4th September – Mondays 10:00 and Wednesday 09:30

Many of my clients are mums and their exercise takes a nose-dive during the school holidays. My circuits sessions mean mums (and dads) can exercise with their kids which not only is great fun and keeps them all fit, it’s a great bonding experience that doesn’t cost the earth (£8 adults, £3 children).

If adults don’t have children, they mustn’t be put off – they will be paired with another adult for the session and they will remain in their pair at all workout stations.

Hi, I’m Jo, and I’m thrilled to have just taken over the running of Baby Sensory in Walton-on-Thames.

Baby Sensory has been well loved in Walton for almost 3 years now, and up until now has been run by Kayleigh on Mondays.

I’m so pleased to be able to continue to bring the magic of Baby Sensory to Walton, now on a Tuesday.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with your baby this summer?

Our Summer Sizzlers are live for booking via our website, and we have some brilliant themes planned for you and your babies to enjoy!

Full term bookings are available now, and single sessions will be available the week before each session, subject to availability. Spaces are being snapped up fast so why not secure a spot for you and baby whilst also taking advantage of our full term discount!

We’ll be enjoying a Summer Party, taking babies into the Rainforest, exploring under the sea with the Baby Pirates and heading into the Wild West!

WWF Living Planet Centre

Family Workshops

During school holidays we offer a range of hands on and engaging family workshops in our learning zone. Please see below for forthcoming activities.

Our Planet Our Home Family Workshops This Summer

Nature is vital – we can’t survive without it. But our world is under threat like never before.

Our Planet, a ground-breaking documentary series, produced in partnership with Netflix, WWF and Silverback Films, raises awareness of the world’s rarest wildlife and most precious habitats. It brings to life the splendour of the natural wonders that we risk losing if we don’t act now.

Each summer session starts with a short stunning video using footage from Our planet, focusing on one habitat, with the first session exploring wildlife on your doorstep. From rivers, lakes and oceans to forests, grasslands and our frozen world, families can discover the wonders of our world, create colourful artwork to take home and help build our huge Our Planet Our Home mural. At each session, our pledge tree will flourish with actions everyone can take to protect our planet.

Book one or more of our six engaging themes that link to ‘Our Planet’. For children aged 4+. We appreciate a donation of £3.00 per child.

Workshops will run from 10am -10.50am and 11am -11.50am.

Children’s Theatre: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

Saturday 3rd August and Saturday 10th August

How mad are the hatter and the hare? Is the dormouse crackers? What does the dodo do?
Where is the White Rabbit going? Why is the Mock Turtle miserable? What makes the Caterpillar Grumpy and the Hedgehog Prickly? Questions are answered and answers are questioned in this deceptively simple, yet highly original re-telling of the Lewis Carroll classic.

Children’s Theatre: The Wind in The Willows

Sunday 4th August and Sunday 11th August

Fuelled by another original script that flows as confidently as the river it evokes, the three performers conjure up Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad; the Wild Wooders – Frightening Frank the Ferret, Sniggering Stan the Stoat and the Whining Chief Weasel; not to mention the key players in Toad’s Own Story – the Prison Guard’s Daughter, the Washerwoman, the Barge woman, the Car Driver, Policeman and Judge.
